An open offer for students and life-long learners
A decades-long journey in IT. Now I want to help you start yours.
I'm Curt Cornum. The technology community has been very good to me, so I want to help future technologists launch their careers. This is a standing offer to students and life-long learners. No fees. No hidden agendas.
Just honest guidance from someone who likes to put technology to work.
Prerequisites: Insatiable curiosity. Tech optimist.
Who you'd be working with
Builder. Practitioner. Evangelist.
I'm an enterprise tech professional, most recently a Senior Solutions Architect working on large-scale secure networks. I'm also a United States Marine Corps veteran who worked on fighter jets aboard the USS Midway.
These days I also build network tools under NetPotent.com, experiment with agentic AI at TrucMunroc.ai, do random acts of kindness through StickmenUnited.org, and post candid tech-related videos on LinkedIn.
- Decades in IT, many in leadership roles
- U.S. Marine Corps veteran, USS Midway
- Network, security, and unified communications systems architect
- Builder behind NetPotent.com, TrucMunroc.ai, and StickmenUnited.org
What I can offer
A menu, not a package.
Pick whatever offering sounds timely and useful. All offerings are free.
Why this matters now
The AI conversation, told straight.
I care most about helping students navigate what AI is actually doing to entry-level IT: which doors are closing, which are opening, and how to add value while the ground is shifting.
More about me
The work behind the offer.
- LinkedIn profile Professional background, plus where I post my honest take on AI and the future of IT work.
- TrucMunroc.ai Hands-on work with agentic AI, including the OpenClaw Library of documented projects. A deep rabbit hole for curious students.
- NetPotent.com A collection of browser-based network tools I built and still use. Feel free to poke around and see how they work.
- StickmenUnited.org A self-funded passion project built around random acts of kindness.
